See You See Me (SYSM) is Shermaine and Kenny, a husband and wife duo who share a passion for art, design, music and so much more.
They love to travel together. And for Shermaine, her illustrations are a way of documenting memories and little stories on a sketchbook.
Shermaine’s love for form, textures, and colors has led her to explore how she can express her mix of real-world and imaginary scenarios and bring them to life.
Using mainly a blend of permanent/water-soluble color pencils, and pastels, Shermaine hopes to share messages in her illustrations that can brighten one’s day or leave you with something unexpected — making you go “aww” at the simple joys of everyday life, or “wow” at imaginary spaces that you can escape to and dwell in.
Meanwhile, Kenny is the sleeping partner, helping to run SYSM. As he’s not as talented in illustrations, he spends his time coming up with quirky ideas or writing stories and witty lines for Shermaine’s illustrations.
SYSM is a collection of the duo’s ideas and an expression of who they are and what they love. Hopefully, you can see a little of them in you and see you in them.
