Have your very own custom portrait in my Folks Series style — drawn by me, of course!

If you’d like to have your portrait and/or one of you with your pet in my Folks Series style, place an order now to secure a slot. There will be limited number of slots available each season.

Important Note: All my Folks characters are created in my unique style and every choice of art materials used is spontaneous. It all depends on what I think will suit your portrait best and this gives me the flexibility to work freely on your portrait. As such, I will not be providing a rough pencil sketch for your approval. Instead, you’ll receive a snap shot of my sketchbook page with the artwork of your portrait before the final print is sent to you

In order not to overwork your portrait, I’d prefer not to accept any changes to the artwork. However, I’m happy to discuss if you feel strongly about edits that may be required. We can still work something out. If at any point, I feel I cannot meet your expectations for the required edits, I’ll let you know and a refund can be made. This is to ensure I do not lose the essence and spontaneity of how I create and draw my Folks characters. I understand that this may not work for everyone and that’s perfectly alright. That’s what makes everyone (or every Folks character) unique!

How To Order Your Custom Folks Portrait & What to Expect:

1. After you’ve placed your order, please email hello@seeyouseemestudio.com with the following:

   • Your order number.

   • Photo/s of yourself and your pet (preferably in a standing posture with either a frontal/side/or back views).

   • If in doubt, refer to any of the poses from our Folks series. They will be a great reference for you to select a suitable photo/s.

   • Your custom portrait is limited to no more than 1 person and/or 1 pet.

   • Include any additional quirks of yourself (and/or your pet), e.g. favorite colors, accessories, fabric patterns, etc. Where possible, this helps me to capture your unique personality in your portrait.

2. You’ll receive a snapshot of my sketchbook page with the artwork of your portrait within 10 business days after we receive the information listed above. The snapshot will give you an idea of what your portrait will look like (and it’ll be similar in style to the product images that you’re seeing on this page).

3. When your portrait is completed, you’ll be receiving a high quality Giclée print of your original portrait — and not the original drawings. As I do not apply any fixatives for my original drawings, the drawings will be smudged and damaged when they’re shipped. The original artwork will be scanned at a high resolution and is professionally printed. Therefore, the Giclée print is as close to the original copy that you can have — if not even better — and it will be yours exclusively. (Please refer to Additional Information below for more details on our Giclée print quality.)

4. Upon confirmation and your sign-off, we’ll proceed to print your custom portrait, and it’ll then be packaged and sent to you once it’s ready to be dispatched. Your custom portrait digital copy will also be emailed to you.

5. There is complimentary DHL Express shipping for your portrait. Please select any shipping option and enter “FOLKSCPSHIP” during checkout.

6. Please note that the complimentary shipping does not cover any import fees or duties (if any) that may be charged to you. We have no control over these import laws and regulations set by your local government and authorities.
